Bagged That!

Circular Fashion for Community Renewal

What We Do

Bagged That is a circular fashion and textile waste reduction program powered by Mén Beni Gardening. We host community pop-up thrift experiences that make sustainable fashion accessible, joyful, and community-centered, while reducing the amount of clothing that ends up in dumpsters and landfills.

OUR VISION

We envision communities where sustainability is accessible, culturally rooted, and community-powered, where clothing is reused, not wasted, and where everyday choices contribute to collective environmental healing.

Through Bagged That, we are working toward a future where circular fashion is normalized, textile waste is reduced at the community level, and economic opportunities are created through conscious consumption and local collaboration.

Our vision is to help build circular community economies where environmental stewardship, cultural expression, and collective care exist together, ensuring future generations inherit a healthier planet and stronger, more resilient communities.

Our Impact

Unlike traditional thrift stores, Bagged That is designed as a sustainability program first, with all proceeds reinvested into environmental education, community wellness programming, and land stewardship initiatives.

Why Bagged That Exists

Textile waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the United States. Millions of pounds of wearable clothing are discarded each year, contributing to landfill overflow, environmental pollution, and unnecessary resource depletion.

Bagged That was created to:

  • Reduce clothing waste at the community level

  • Make sustainable fashion affordable and accessible

  • Shift culture toward conscious consumption

  • Reinvest resources into community-based environmental programming
