MÉN BENI GARDENING
Mén Beni Gardening (n.)
Blessed Hands; a Haitian American led, community centered nonprofit creating nature based experiences where people renew, reconnect, and reawaken through gardens, culture, art, food, wellness, and environmental learning.
OUR MISSION
To renew, reconnect, and reawaken the mind, body, and spirit through self, community, and the environment.
We bring this mission to life through gardening, cultural experiences, food, art, wellness, environmental education, and intergenerational learning.
OUR VISION
To cultivate a culture where people, communities, and the natural world can exist in the fullness of who they are.
We envision lives lived naturally and organically, with no limits to access to land, nourishing food, mental wellness, knowledge, and the freedom to imagine, create, and thrive.
WHAT SETS US APART
Papillon in the Garden is more than a wellness program. We bring women back to themselves through nature, culture, food, reflection, movement, and community.
Each week follows the journey of the butterfly, using transformation, resilience, and the natural world to help participants reconnect with self, community, and the environment.
